Nigel is a 13 year old registered Quarter horse, he is 15.2hh and is in his second season with Opening Gaits. He is bombproof, nothing fazes him! He is a good all round horse that loves a job! He can do a bit of everything but excels at Cowboy Challenge obstacle courses. Nigel comes to Opening Gaits from a private owner

Larry is a 18yr old Quarter Horse, he is owned by Opening Gaits. He is 14.3hh and in his previous life was a ranch horse. He is a loveable character and a solid horse for Opening Gaits. He loves to go out on trail rides and still has plenty of energy!

Sifa (Sorenson's Sifa) is a 14 year old Fjord mare. Sifa's training has been pony club, jumping, eventing, cross country, cowboy challenges, gymkana and dressage. With her sweet disposition she has fit into Opening Gaits program quickly and easily.

Party is a huge gentle giant. He is 19 years old, 18hh and a registered Dutch Warmblood. He was previously a show jumper and a lesson horse. He is now looking for a more laid back life to match his laid back personality! He has all the buttons and does things at his own slow pace and is perfect for our independent riders.

Prince is 18 years old and around 14.2hh. He is a quarter horse and has mainly been used as a trail horse. He is not keen on being caught but once you have him in a halter he is a sweetheart! He has fitted into the program well and is a good replacement for our beloved Gem.

Fleck was originally with Opening Gaits around 10 years ago, she is around 14.2hh and is a seasoned polocrosse horse. She is back with us once more and proving to be a nice horse for our program.

Maya is the 12 year old daughter of Sifa, she is half Norwegian Fjord and half thoroughbred. She has been in the program now for 2 seasons and is a favourite. She is about 15.1hh and a very pretty girl. She works well with riders on a lead or with independent riders
